innovation-driven designer and producer of value added polymeric
materials.
With three manufacturing facilities in the Detroit area, 25 chemists and
chemical engineers, and extensive laboratories, Coat-It, Inc., has demonstrated
repeatedly the ability to master new technologies, create innovative answers to
demanding problems, and the capability and willingness to continuously
improve. Coat-It, Inc. is always looking for new ways to expand its
technologies, market segments, and geographic involvement.
Coat-It's activities are concentrated in three areas:
The first targets the automotive industry, supplying PVC sealments, mastics,
epoxies and extruded die cut materials.
In addition to the automotive industry, the second area targets both the
automotive trim and furniture industries. Reactive hot melts, acrylics,
thermoplastics EVA hot melts, pressure sensitive, one- and two-part water base
polyurethanes, as well as several chemistries supporting the growth of this
area.
The third area is in the engineered products section, which targets the
communication, transportation, aerospace, construction, maintenance,
electronic, electrical and consumer product industries. Chemistries in
this area include acrylics, polyurethanes, polyesters, epoxies, polyamides,
water bases, radiation curables, acrylamides and others. This division of
the business holds the greatest potential for both domestic and international
growth, as proven technologies are taken worldwide, capitalizing on our
alliances and joint ventures.
